2005 - Wabi Sabi--
Founded in 2002 as a nonprofit thrift store, WabiSabi is increasing its efforts to help the Moab community. Goods donated to WabiSabi are donated to the Navajo Nation, helping 500 families in need; or sold in the WabiSabi thrift store, with proceeds benefiting local nonprofits. Items that do not sell are recycled. To encourage civic engagement, WabiSabi started the "Make a Difference in Moab" fund to encourage community-minded projects designed by individuals.
