Richard Gary Snow Point of Light #209

Richard currently serves as president of the Bennion Center, the University of Utah's on-campus center for service. In this volunteer role, Richard has recruited and supports 45 student directors who run 45 student directed projects. He also serves as a project director. Recently, Richard co-directed the Bennion Center's Project Youth, bringing 1,500 sixth-graders from Title I schools to the University of Utah to experience college life for a day.
At the state level, Richard serves as chair of the Students Serving Utah Network, bringing together service representatives and student body presidents from college and university campuses throughout the state to promote service and service-learning among college students. Richard also serves as a Student Alumni Association board member, and volunteers with other campus events such as the Utah-BYU Food Drive and Paint Your Heart Out.
