What is a Youth Summit?
A Youth Summit…
- Celebrates and encourages youth leadership and service
- Brings together youth to discuss youth and community issues
- Allows youth the opportunity to voice their concerns and develop to better problems
- Allows youth to network with each other, youth organizations, and community organizations
- Provides youth with the opportunity to gain training in leadership and service related skills
- Develops and encourages young people’s ability and desire to give back to their communities
